Kim Rodden - Trainer

We find ourselves very privileged to have Kim Rodden instructing students and training horses at our barn. She joined our team in 2009. Kim comes to us with 20+ years experience. She moved to NC when she was 14 from Illinois, where she rode consistently on the "B"Circuit and then after arriving here through her teens showed in the Pony & Hunters at PHJA. She then went on to do the "A" Circuit as an Adult Amateur, during which time she moved to Jumpers and showed levels 3, 4 & 5 in FL, GA, NC, SC, KY and VA. During her last three years of showing she won " Circuit Champion" in Florida 3 years in a row. In 2006, she took some time off to become a mother again and is now giving up her career as an Amateur and wants to teach students and train horse. As an Amateur Rider she couldn’t teach or train professionally, now she wants to and help students and their horses achieve success in the Hunter/ Jumper world of riding.
